Bee stings are acidic
A bee sting is acidic and is between 4.5 and 5.5 on the pH scale. As bee stings are acidic, if stung, it is key to counteract the acidity of a bee sting with something alkaline based such as bicarbonate of soda. Interestingly, wasp stings are alkaline so vinegar is used to counterbalance a sting.
A Bee sting falls fairly low on the pH scale (at around 4.5-5.5) therefore, they are acidic.
Acidic, The pH level is around 5
The bee sting is Acidic while the wasp sting is alkalin
