The graph would be a polynomial that resembles a higher-order parabola. The graph would extend up the positive y-axis in the second quadrant and also up the positive y-axis in the first quadrant. Increasing k has the effect of squeezing the graph horizontally. Increasing n has the effect of making the edges of the graph sharper as it moves along the x-axis from the 2nd quadrant to the 1st. An example below.
